Tires are fine for lawn mowing but won't pull a plow or disc very good.

Whew!  I agree.  I can't even sell a restored B for that here in Florida.

Just add tire chains for field work. I plowed and fit ground with turf tires and tire chains. Lots of weight added.

I read the ad agin.. tires are regular semi ones ,24.5 inches so rim would be 1/4" smaller all around..wonder if tubes are needed ? And HOW is it really supported ??

oh well I don't 'need' another project...except for a 53' CA....that's be nice..

I'm now thinking truck tire is on truck rim  THEN clamped to B center ?

just torch the center section out and leave 4 TABS to mount to the B hub.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

24.5 tires would be tubeless. Wheels without centers are available that are for the spoked center hubs.

Yeah, it might be odd... but hey... if you're using it for a pavement-based tug, it's not bad.

now, rotate the axles to lower it, nix the reduction drives, shave the treads, then do same from some space-saver spares up front... put on some swoopy Orchard fenders, big chrome headlamps, and move the exhaust to out the side, it'll look like a Duesenberg... supercharge it and flip the transmission gears, take it to Bonneville...

Truck tires do come in the 24" tube type, not 24.5 tubeless. They are somewhat obsolete nowadays, however in years past many heavy haulers always used them. You could buy 24" turf tires cheaper unless they were giveaways

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

They do make 24" truck tires. I have some. They would be a pain in the ass to mount on a non break down rim

Do not put 24.5 tires and truck rims on the Allis center cast wheel .you will be asking for a problem. 24.5 on 24'' rim,the will not stay tight.seen this done lucky the wheel did not come off.Do not put 24.5 tires on a 24'' rim.

Look at the add top right picture clearly shows tabs welded to the truck rims to bolt on hubs be real cool to use super single radials and run lower air be a nice soft ride

They do make 24.5 tubeless tires. I have a truck with that size tire.

From the photos they used a 24.5 Tubeless Dayton wheel set OVER the B hub and pulled up with home made wedges.

I bought a B years ago with 22.5 truck tires on it. They just welded tabs to the rims and bolted them fast.
Years ago my neighbor bought a JD LA with rotted tires so we took my truck wheels and an assortment of bolts and put them on the LA to bring it home. I still have the wheels on a non running B.

I guess it work with truck rims.  Don't think it's safe to try 24.5's on a 24" rim, first time you pull against it would probably spin the tire and tube.  I've bought old reacap 22.5's that are too old for over the road use but work fine on farm trucks for $40 - $50 each at auctions.  They also have 24.5's and used truck wheels are scrap price or free if they have a worn out tire on them.  The tractor just doesn't look right with those tires.
