I would like to have help in creating a list of loaders that will fit the Allis Chalmers D17 series IV.  I'm hoping that some of you out there can chime in and let me know what is right and what is wrong because I am not an expert.  From what I have seen as the normal loaders on the D17 these may work.

Loaders for D17 series IV:
1. Allis Chalmers 400 & 500 series loaders (414,415,417,460,500,517 & 519)
2. Allis Chalmers Industrial loaders (L-99 & L200)
3. Great Bend 800 loader
4. Westendorf Loaders (WL-21 & WL-42)
5. Kelley loaders
6. Farmhand F11 loader
7. Davis 101B loader
8. Koyker K5 Loader
9. Paulson loaders
10. American loaders
11. Dual (125 & 320)
12. Schwartz 1400 loader
13. Trip conversions (AC 170 & Freeman)

My hope is that others can add to these and confirm that these loaders will work for the Allis D17.

Our D17 Series II has a 500 loader. It was installed by the dealer in 1970.  The pump is front mounted.  Shims were added between the loader frame and the tractor frame.  The D17 is a little narrower than the loader.
This is a great tractor/loader combination.

I would prefer not having to use a torch and welder.

I have a New Idea loader on mine. I believe it’s a model 504. I also think I have seen some with a Freeman loader.
