Will WD/WD45 fit D14/15/17/19? It looks like the CA/B arms are a different size? Going to need a set for a WD45. Don in Hawkeye MO |

Pretty sure they all fit, evrything. Those are the newer, heavy duty ones.... .. the hole allows a 1.25" bar to be installed to keep things from breaking I think. wait 5 minutes and 4 guys will have 3 imore replies !! That’s what I thought. The latch itself is the same as all the Snap Coupler emplements use the same size bar to go into the latches. Don |

I have two or three sets for the WD45 tractors. ------------- 3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep. |

I did a little research on this issue a few years ago. This is what I found out.....I think I got it right! As stated, the CA, D-10, etc use a different style coupler. The 3 photos show what I think are the latest and heaviest latches; probably for the 175 and up tractors altho they should fit the WD-WD-45s as well. The last photo shows a comparison and the extra "meat" in the casting of the HD unit.     |

The D17 would probably have used the #4 lighter couplers with the spreader bar. I would imagine the #5 came out about 61 with the D19, a heavier tractor, and was carried through to the snap coupler versions of the 190. JMO. ------------- Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives. |

| My Series 1 D 15 has lift latches similar to the picture . What goes in the round hole ? A spreader bar ? What purpose would that be ? THANKS !! |

| I think it just stabilized things more. Dad bought a SC plow for WD in mid 60s. Put SC hitch on and bought new arm latches. They are the heaviest latest version. I'm sure they superceded everything before. |

| Thanks Steve , maybe other tractors are different but on my D 15 I don't see how anything could move unless something broke ? Maybe the lift latch could slip off the end of the lift arm ? THANKS again ! |

| Those heavy-duty lift latches showed up when the "big disc" (13.5') snap-coupler with a chain attached to lift arms and the pulley was on the snap-coupler tongue to activate the Traction Booster. The WD-45 had a D-17 upgrade and duals--it was all it could handle. One of the neighbor BTO's of that era had a 190 that I believed only pulled an 11-foot disc. At least that was the way it was on our farm. If you were used to your foot being on the rear platform; you had to be careful you didn't snag your work shoe when lifting or lowering an implement! R.
