I would check the dimension between the very rear two pin mounts...how wide is the blade ? looks like it could fit a B or C. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

It's not an Allis Chalmers blade. They never made front mounted blades (no mention or pictures in any books). To me, it looks home made with a coat of orange paint and a new style sticker to match. To me, if you compare the structure of this blade to any piece of equipment made 'by' or 'for' Allis Chalmers, you soon realize this blade is a 'home made' fabrication. Most of the blade is made from standard 'off the rack' steel ( angle, channel, square tube etc.) I believe Allis only supplied 2 front mounted blades, both for 'front end loaders' One style of blade fit all 'trip bucket' loaders. The other style fit all 400 and 500 series Hydraulic Bucket Loaders. These are illustrated in Allis Loader Parts Catalog. Gary |

I agree with the 'homemade' idea... ANYONE whose used a snow blade KNOWS why there are heavy duty springs on the blade !!! I agree that the above pictured blade looks. homemade, or short line. However ALLIS CHALMERS did have FACTORY produced front mount blades. I have one for a CA. I have also seen them for WD/WD45 tractors. I have literature for front blades for D10/12 tractors and I would guess they were also available for the larger D series as well. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. | the blade and the pivot part looks like the blade for my 101. it is al constructed from common steel shapes , so is the one for my 616 , maybe who ever biult the implements for simplicity biult these ? be neet to see some littiture. |

| Eit fits a C allischalmers. The two loose angle brackets bolt to the front cultivator mounts a b dosent have them. The back of the lift frame should bolt to the holes in the bel housing make sure you use bolts less than3/4" long or you lock up the flywheel. The back of the push arms should pin to the plow drop brackets. Or homemade brackets if that's what you have. That little arm with the cable attached goes on the rock shaft where the plow would normaly mount. I've made three of them each with minor differences. None of the ones I made had springs you don't even want springs on it as a tractor it dosent go fast enough for the blade to suck down before it pivots and dumps the load. I put a 5' length of rail road track on the frame just behind the cutting edge for extra wieght when moving snow. I removed it when pushing gravel. You would be amazed how much you can push with a C. Two of the ones I made couldn't angle after the first one I found it worked much better keeping the blade straight and moving it back close to the front tires. |

| I built them. One of angle iron with angle blade used a plow blade from a jeep. One of well pipe with a fixed blade. And the third was a combination. Of channel iron and pipe. Fixed blade with room for the narrow front where the pivot assembly was. I basicly copied the one I saw at a local allis dealer. He had built his also. The two last ones I built I used the plow drop mounts instead of building brackets. When you use the plow brackets you Need towels a spreader tube across at the front mount pins to keep from breaking the threads out of the housings when you hit that immovable object |

| The one in the picture won't fit on a NF for one to work on a narrow front it needs to be as wide between the front as it is in the back. The front tires need to have room to turn with the push bars outside of them. By running the push bars back to the rear axle plow attachment points your putting the stress where the tractor was designed to pull from. |
