I am having trouble connecting my hydraulic hoses to some of the ports (female Pioneer) on my 7060 and 8030 even when I have the hydraulic valve in the Float position.. Is there some way to clean the area behind the retaining balls to insure that they are all receding enough to make the connection?  Thanks.

What tips are on your hoses?

You can take the entire couple apart on the tractor and clean it, but I can't imagine that is your problem.

There are some Male tips that are "supposed" to work in pioneer couplers, that DON'T

If you have the couplers with the ball end, they are harder to connect. The poppet type couplers work easier. Sometimes pressure builds up in the hoses making them hard to connect. Tapping the ball end will relieve the pressure.
