On the right hand side of the engine there are two hoses about 2in. long . Are they something special or just radiator hose? Thanks.

Nothing special. Most automotive stores will have that size in bulk and just cut off what you need. They really should have that thin heat shield put back to protect the hose from the exhaust heat.

Those hoses are for the oil cooler.  AGCO carries them.  Also go and get STAINLESS STEEL gear clamps to secure them.  Ordinary gear clamps are not strong enough to keep them from leaking.

Automotive stores locally didn't have that size hose when i replaced mine. Don't remember the dimension, but checked 4 stores and no one had it. Luckily my brother had some left over. Book recommends some silicone rubbed inside the hose lip to help seal from leaks. It works, no leaks in probably 30 hours of run time.
