Mark....I have 8 or so if these gears, and the only one that has 8 bolt hubs is the ten ton. the 700 series was kinda promoted as the forage gear. All three of the chopper boxes are either 700 or 701. All have the six bolt hub. I looked at my literature and it does not indicate options on hubs, just wheel sizes. Not to say that is what actually happened...Dale

1.75" diameter spindles with EWC 709 6 bolt hubs on all the AC 800, 701, or 700. But, the height & width of their frames differed. The 800 was newer, so of course it was taller & wider across main frames between spindles - front & back. Yes, 800's reach pipe slides thru rear frame to become rear hitch.(smashed pipe with hole). 701/700's had welded on rear hitch plate. 700's had a early blue decal (like WD45 type). 701's & 800's rear decal was newer black letters on white background matte. 701's decal was centered, while 800's was off centered to right side. 700 & 701 were 7 ton, 800 were 8 ton weight rating.
When I get a chance, I'll have to measure the frames, spindles, such to show differences & reply again.

I was wrong on my earlier spindle & hubs info. AC 800 has 2.0" spindles, EWC Q777 hubs, and 3"wide x 6.5" tall frames. AC 700/701 has 1.75" spindles, EWC Q709 hubs, and 3" wide x 6.0" tall frames.
