We recently bought a junk d19 for 500. It had bad rims and rubber all around and a blown gasser. I had some 190 tires and rims that we put on the old girl and since we already have a gas d19 in the fleet it didn't even cross my mind to get another gas engine to install. Instead I found a 433ti from a f3 combine. I have an array of parts from other tractor repairs. So I had a flywheel and clutch/pressure plate from a 190XT. The 190 flywheel takes 4 bolts and 2 pegs and the 433ti takes 6 bolts so we had to drill out the 2 holes on the flywheel to except bolts, very simple with a drill press and an expensive fastenall drill bit like a hot knife to butter. The oil pan on the 433 is deeper so we had to raise the front up 4 and 5/8 inches for the wide front end to have motion under the engine and to have room for the power steering components. We used a section of d17 rails to raise it up. We got an air cleaner from a diesel d19 and installed it in the existing battery box area and I'm in the proses of building a platform with steps and a battery box on the foot clutch side of the tractor. The power steering was a simple bracket, some new lines ran, and an idler pully from a junk chevy 350. Installed all new gauges replaced the Murphy switch with an ac high pressure oil gauge and got a tac from summit racing with an hour gauge and sized to fit in the existing hole and run off the alternator its a Stuart warner Guage they sell a mechanical one as well. Also replaced the electric temp sender with an ac water temp gauge. We're going to take it to have some professional tin work done before we have it painted many components don't fit under the hood anymore.but all and all I'm very happy with this build and how it turned out and I love listening to that turbo whistle.
