I am searching for a sales brochure for the Model W tractor. The WC was called the W for a short time. The brochure shows a W tractor on rubber on the cover for $825. I would like to have the pages of the email scanned in or i would buy a copy of the brochure if it was for sale. Thanks, Dean(IA) |

Never heard that. At first I was gonna tell you to flip it over, it's upside down, what you have is a crawler. Orrrrrrrrrrrr somebody put a radiator tag on upside down. ------------- Maximum use of available resources! |

 I had ran across this main bearing set. It uses a journal that is smaller than 201 tractors would end up with. |

I think it is the Engine that was called the 'W' Series. The 201 in a WD, and the 226 in WD-45 were a W Series. Gary |

That's right, the early small-crank 201s were called "W All Crop". I believe the Waukeshas were even just "All Crop"

Bill has it right. In Terry Dean's Data Book "The WC was advertised as the Model W All-Crop untill the first part of 1934". Photos are from the 1934 Year Book.

When did they quit putting the diamond on the sides of the radiator? I have a 34 radiator with original paint and I can't see any remnants of the decal. | If you look at that last picture of the rear end. That tractor has the same rear end as a Waukesha wc .There are no flat spots on the rear end for the cultivator brackets to bolt to I have only seen 3 tractors that are like that. The cultivator brackets on Waukesha wc's are also the brake cover. |

| The other thing to notice about that picture is there is no starting tank in the picture. If you look close there is a 3rd cap just In front of the fuel tank. |

I noticed that the tractor speeds shows 9 1/4 to 18 mph someone must of been using a govenor string ! ------------- turbocharged |

Here is the ad which I had found previously on ebay. The original ad which I copied had such a poor image of the tractor on rubber, so I had to use the one with steel wheels changed to rubber tires. The picture in the original ad actually was a 3/4 right front view.  |

The drawings on the brochures did not always depict the actual tractors very well. The 34 WC's never had the AC diamond on the sides of the radiator. The starter tank was on the back right up to ser. # 546 with a 2 inlet fuel filter and the hinged gas cap was used up to ser.# 510. There are a number of other parts unique to the 34 also. Here is a picture of our 34.

| I was reading the advertising literature and all the copies say the tractor will do 18mph in 4th gear. No way!!!! Maybe rolling down a steep hill in neutral!!!! If you have to stop hold the steering wheel with your knees because both hands will be on the brakes!!!!! |
