I have a 170 Allis Chalmers gas . I have been trying to do some serial number research and I cannot find where my serial number falls into the year category . My serial number is 170 1600. I noticed the first year of the 170s starts with a 5000 number so I am kind of scratching my head on this one . any help would be great thank you

| The One-Seventy came out in June/July of 1967 and started at s/n 1001. Partial year production doesn't really show the s/n's. Yours is an early model run of 1967 production....the 599th one. |
