My oil filter assembly is missing the stem that goes up into the oil filter. My question is will a wd 45 oil assembly bolt right on the 201cu engine? or my other choice is: Can the stem be removed from the wd 45 oil assembly and screw right into my oil filter base. Appreciate any help I can get.

WD motor is in the early d grader.  Ergo, it will fit...
