A little confused on this and wondering what the correct method is used today, my repair manual says the piston sleeve silicone o ring (red one) goes on bottom groove and black one on top, went and got new orings at agco dealer he says red on top black one on bottom groove. Anybody have any insight on this.

someone will know....things can change over the years but I'd quiz the parts guy again telling him what the manual says....Not I&T manual is it?

Yes I&t, I know they changed over the years and that's what agco guy said also, just seeing how the guys on here are putting them on.

Red on bottom. Oil will swell the red one causing it to fit tight.     MACK
