Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and wanted to say I'm glad it exist to help guys like me. I just bought a Model C today and need to replace both front tires. Its a narrow front end and I don't know where to jack to get the front off the ground. I'm 66 years old and wanted to get into these old tractors. Didn't take long to run into a problem. Dont want to break anything. Thanks for any help. Bryan |

| on mine I did one side at a time, drive one side up onto a 2x4 and the other side will be off the ground |

With the wheels in the air whether by jack or 2x4 those wheels spin easily. A good air impact wrench would probably still loosen the lug nuts or bolts but its a lot easier to break them loose with the tires on the ground. Always has been a factor in changing tires. Gerald J. |

You can always jack where you see my jack stand under the bell housing part of the torque tube without a problem.
