Well HAPPY Birthday Steve!!  How come you didn't list it in your profile?
That goes for EVERYONE who hasn't done it.  Also, your hometown and state...
It's nice knowing where people are from if you're traveling around the country...

Thank you very much, everybody!
Just got back awhile ago from Golden Corral where they have a free meal for you on your birthday.
Had to sign up on their site on one of their links and they send you an email that has "specials" & the "coupon" to print out and take. http://goldencorral.com" rel="nofollow - goldencorral.com

It sure doesn't seem possible or feel like I ought to be 60. That's somebody else!!
I think that it helps to have a 9 yr old daughter running around here, too! Wink

I got to thinking about how long that I've been here on this forum and as close as I can come up with is approximately 15 yrs., minimum.
It's probably closer to 18-19, I think.
That doesn't seem possible of being here that long, neither.
And, it's always a joy to tune in here and see what the clan is up to! Big smileLOL

Nevertheless, at this stage in the game of life, in reflection, one really becomes aware of what's really important over all.

One's walk with the Lord and the relationship with HIM.

One's immediate family- spouse, children,(parents- if they're still living), and their love for you with peace in the household.

Don't sweat the small stuff - and then you find out that it's all small stuff.

Appreciating the people in your life that adds to your life and not take away from it.

Helping the people that you can with your skills, gifts, talents, & crafts, and letting go of the ones that you can't- love them where they are in life and recognize that you can't help them past being a listening ear and/or a shoulder to lean on without being taken advantage of because you can't help everybody even as much as you want to.

Things can be replaced, but the people that you love and others in your life, can't.
Sometimes, all that is required is that you just show up as an indication that you care.

Being thankful and grateful for the things that one has.

Thankful for my past as it helped mold and make me into who I am today with the knowledge, which allows me to pass on wisdom and information to the younger generations in order that they don't suffer some consequences unnecessarily.

The importance of hearing from an elder to glean as much info from them when they're pouring into your life.

Speaking so that ones heart and intent can be heard.

These are just some of my observations from over the years.

Thanks for listening!  Smile
