I think I've asked this question before, can't remember, any ways I kno a 7000 is just a glorified 200, but how did the engineering guys get 12 speeds in the 7000 ,tractor?

The 190/200 power director is high for direct drive, and then low is under drive or a gear reduction. The 7000 tractor added the third speed to the power director which is over drive. Works a lot like an Oliver/White Over/Under.

Three splined shafts ( running different
speeds) coming into clutch assembly. Only one clutch pack engaged at a time. MACK

Low range (under-drive) has 4 discs.....Medium range (direct-drive) has 3 discs.....High range (over-drive) has 2 discs. These 70261212 clutch discs are stronger and transmit more torque than the older P.D. clutch discs and will not break in two. Direct fit into older tractors.
