Discovered valve seals installed on a head I am cleaning up to put on my CA. Anybody here use them when rebuilding a head? Just curious but input would be welcome. Head came off of an old power unit.

Bad idea! I have found them when rebuilding a head as well. Replace the valve guides instead. The seals will only cause the guides to eat out like the bottom head picture.

I'll put them on intake guides but not the exhaust. I don't mind a little bit of oil going into them to keep things lubricated. The intakes will suck some oil anyway.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
