Well, I got a few hours this morning to go out and button up the last couple things. Need to pit my front and rear blades and chains back on it but that will be another day soon.

Really nice job on the restoration! Do you have some pictures as you progressed? Looks like the tractor was earning its keep in its work clothes. Is it going to do some snow plowing this winter again?:) Regards,  Chris

I'm dying to push some snow!!! It's my favorite thing to do with any tractor since I was kid. I'll be getting it back into snow mode next weekend. My home made blade may not look fancy but it pushes REALLY well. I've moved some surprising amounts of dirt and gravel with it too. Works great for brush clearing too.

That's a video of the blade where you can get a look at the hydraulics. Video quality was poor and not sure why. The copy on my computer looks great but it wont seem to let me upload it. I think that cutting edge came off a road grader. Bought it at place we have near my home that has all kinds of ods and ends tractor, trailer, tools, and stuff. That blade has worked awesome since day one. DEFINITLY NEED CHAINS ON TIRES WHEN PUSHING SNOW. I also use a 3pt rear blade with some weights on it for traction when pushing.

Yup I keep thinking I should get chains for my d15 because it is a nightmare in the winter but I have some pavement and haven't decided if I think it will be ok to use chains on the pavement.

HudCo, I don't know what they are off of but they are Allis Chalmers cylinders. My uncle that is very in to Allis and Case got them from a buddy of his that got them when the Allis place in Independence Missouri closed years ago. He never used them and we figured they would work good for lifting that blade. I had to pull them off and rebuild them after the first few months of use because they were leaking really bad. Seals were dried up. Cost me 12 dollars to rebuild them.
