Here are some pictures of the plow day I had last weekend. Only had three people, Dudley Wallace (from this site), Caleb Caudle from Facebook world, and myself. Also had one of my customers from a neighboring town stop by and run my D17 a bit. We got over almost 18 acres. All in all it was a good day. The Deere guys didn't show up (had to work or something like that ). Anyway we talked about doing it again next year. If I have it again I have three fields that will be bean stubble but they are each 5 acre patches that have about a mile between one set and three miles to the next. What is everyone's take on that? Anyway enjoy the pictures. Adam

Cool! I really wish I could go to a plow day sometime. Plowing the little ol' garden isn't enough.

Adam, I was hoping you had a good day to plow and it looks like you did. I hope you didn't run over the WD or D17 with the 1206 pulling that little 5 bottom plow. lol around here a 1206 will pull 6x16" in 4 low or one high 8" deep with no trouble.

Caleb ran the 1206 and we had to keep getting out of his way. We finally spit up and Dudley and I moved to the east side and Caleb finished the west side.

Nice pictures and looks like you had a good time despite the small turnout; just gives each guy more to plow. I had a blast at Don's plow day and sub soiled day the past couple years.

Looks like a fun day. I would like to spend a few hours on that Farmall 1206. Decent Tractor in working condition. I would like to find One like that someday. Nice AC's also. Was the ground easy to plow?

Allen, if I do it next year it will be just south of Oblong IL. I have 3 five acre patches. I'll try to get the word out earlier next year.

No, no stones unless we bring up an old Indian arrow head or grinding stone. Mostly it's sandy loam over here.
