Looking to send specs to a machinist of an Allis Chalmers BE engine crank, looked all over thr web and can't find a drawing. If someone has a print they could share I would apreaciate it.

I know but I need the whole picture, length, pilot diameter, journal width and diameter ECT. Oh well I guess I'll mail it to him.

Unless you have someone turning a new crank from a block of steel, all you need are journal diameters to turn them for new bearings. Pretty sure you can find a good used crank, they made a bunch of those engines. AaronSEIA

Yup, that's the plan, billet steel custom crank with counter weights. I ordered the AGCO- Allis engine power unit service manual, I am hoping that that will give me thrust clearenge, journal width, rod length and width and all that. Info is scarce at best, even it the operations and owners manual little info is offered for Rod and main clearence. I think the service dealer manual might offer better insight? You
Edit, I have contacted several salvage yards looking for a crank that has not been turned .020 and has enough meat to turn without welding, no responses after a month. I would need to do extensive machine work and welding to salvage a worn out crank.

I'm late to the party, but this is the page from the B/C Allis service manual. What you are trying to do is probably going to require the shop to have the block, bearings, and old crank to get measurements off of. AaronSEIA
