| Pony pulled plug wires out of distributor cap and off plugs can anyone post picture or email me a good pic. of plugs in tractor and distributor with wire in proper location. Thanks for any help. |

Okay the firing order you are looking for is most likely 1 - 3 - 4 - 2 (most common 4 cylinder firing order assuming you have a 4 cylinder engine of course) so without a model number for anyone to go by your best bet would be this procedure. Put the #1 plug wire back on (Front most spark plug) and stick it in one of the four distributor holes, most likely the top right most one and crank it over.
If it acts like it's almost starting on one cylinder you got it. If not move the plug wire to the next hole and try again until you get it trying to run. Then from there put the #4 plug wire on opposite it. Good chance it will start and run on two cylinders being #1 and #4 are opposite each other. Next put the other two on. One way it will run normal the other it will just keep running on #1 and #4 being 2 and 3 are 180 degrees out of their correct firing phasing. Ether they work or they don't. Last shoot the pony. Ultimately it will save you a lot of further work and grief in a number of aspects of life other than just tractor maintenance.  |

| Look at the dis cap from the top [read it like a clock] the front of the dis is 12 o clock # 1 is 11 o clock, # 2 is 1 o clock , # 4 is 4 o clock, 3 is at 8 o clock firing order is 1-2-4-3 - ON B,C, C/A , WC , WD 4 CLY GAS ENG. |

| Firing order on WD45 is 1-2-4-3. Do you have 1 wire left in place? if so go by that one. if not you will have to figure out #1. What model is yours? |

| Or like many others prefer, pull the #1 plug and with your finger in the plug hole turn it over until compression blows your finger out of the hole. Then take off dist. cap and see which one of the posts the rotor bug is pointing at. That's is where you put your #1 wire. Then go from there. |
