No one seems to offer a temp sending unit for electric temp gauges. Will The D series mechanical guage be long enough? Doesn't need to be OEM, but functional and still appealing. Any help would be great

I know one from a D-19 will reach, and pretty sure a D-17 will too.

Seems like the one I put on the D17 had a good bit of slack still in the line. Not sure how far you need to go though

No problems getting the electric temp sending unit. I know of several places: AGCO, some vendors here might, NAPA. Case also uses the same one on their 580D backhoes.
