It can go slow, real slow, and really really slow.LoL Tires can adjust the speeds a little. It appears top speed is 7.7 mph and goes down to a snails pace.

They can go very slow,I have a MF 220 which is about the same as the AC 5030 and don't use the lowest range even when I run the rototiller with it.Handy tractors down side is there is No parts support.

Yes 2nd in high at about 2500 RPM is what I run 2 different 4' bush hogs and a 5' finish mower if your grass isn't too heavy. I have a manual for the 1582 3 blade 54" belly mower. Some mouse damage on front lower left cover, doesn't effect info. $5+ $2 postage.

AM I NOT GIVING THE PLUGS ENOUGH TIME TO HEAT?

If it is like most Japanese tractors of that era, I think the pre-heat time is 30-45 seconds. Also check the buss bar, that connects the gp's together. it sometimes gets loose, on the gp's, and doesn't connect...
