Is there any way yet to contact the Hunely brothers or some one else that would have done a Cummins repower to 6080 or anybody on here has done the repower. Looking to see if someone has a adaptor plate or any knowledge to give. Have a guy who is died set on doing the repower to two of his 6080's.

I tried getting ahold of them a few years ago to do just that more so as a novelty never got a call back.   I hindsight not sure why you would do it that may the best OEM motor ever made.

Some people have more money than brains.  The 433I engine is a tiny powerhouse that just doesn't quit when it's wound up.  Tell him to rebuild his engines or grab a couple from wrecked F2/F3 combines.  They are very reliable engines.  The thrust bearing issues are caused by the PTO.  If that is the issue, I am sure it would do damage to the Cummins engine as well.  I see no benefit in making this change.
