My dad and I attended the "piston powered auto show" at the IX Center in Cleveland over the weekend. If a piston powers it, its in the show. Surprising to us, we come across several tractors and trucks and these gems. I had never seen one of the trucks. There was also a HD7 with these. The guy that owns them has a gravel pit and they are still used. There was also an early B with a sickle bar on it.

Larry; Very interesting that "motor wagon" What year do you think that was made?   My thots are it is from the 50's about the same time the 200 motor scraper was made.   Now days the wiggle wagons loaded by big back hoes are supposed to be more efficient than scrapers. Again AC was ahead of the times enginering wise again!!

I am not sure what year it was. It does have a good sixed 6 cyl non turbo diesel in it..maybe a Buda? It was def neat. IT had been welded on a bunch also and the bed had holes wore in it, but they still use it in the business

There is a good size Ready Mix concrete plant in Virginia Mn that was using daily, up to about 10 years ago, a little larger than the one in the picture, straight frame Allis Chalmers loader to feed the plant. It had a workout as they fill a lot of trucks in a day. Last time I was near there I see they are running a Komatsu loader.
