Hello all, Ive been tearing into the finals on my 6G due to a bearing failure on the intermediate shaft and have finally gotten to the blood and guts of it.  When the bearing failed it broke the intermediate shaft and chipped the edges of some of the pinion gear teeth that is on the intermediate shaft.  If I have to I can probably clean the chipped teeth up and re-use the gear as 90% of the teeth surfaces are still intact and look to be not cracked or broken at the bottom.  If I can find a replacement for a decent price I'll go ahead and replace it.  The shaft on the other hand is a no go and will have to be replaced.  My question is, who do you all recommend for replacement parts.  I've looked around the net but haven't been able to come up with much.  I was hoping to find a scrap yard that offered parts for the Allis heavy equipment but have been unsuccessful.  The old thing runs good and everything else works so I hate to quit on it.  Thanks for anything info you have to offer and happy digging.

I've gotten parts for my HD5 from Thill Track and Tractor in Wisconsin, and Draper Tractor Parts in Washington state.

Thanks for the replies.  Gemdozer, I'm not really sure how to send a private message on here but I am interested in the shaft and the gear at the least.  What would be the best way for me to get in touch with you on a price?  If it helps you can send me an e-mail at thewaidfamily@outlook.com

I look forward to hearing back from you and thanks again to everyone.
