does anybody have any thing good or Bad to say about these tractors?

Buddy's looking at this one, but read on line that most said to run from them, any truth in this.
I cant seem to fine any bad reviews only positive.

Thanks for any input.

Those tractors were made by Same, if I'm not mistaken. I had a 6690 cab fwa with loader, would still have it, but it was sold during a divorce, lol.
I really liked the 6690. Some people like those tractors, some dont. I think the earlier 6690's had some electrical problems, but that was fixed after sn 1600, I think it was. They are air cooled and very easy on fuel. They still have really good resale value, so they can't bee too bad, lol.

the only input I have - we have worked on more of the White liquid cooled versions for water in the oil that all the air cooled combined.
The engine parts are almost identical except for jugs, heads and water pump as they are liquid cooled and the agco units were air cooled. I gave up trying to find the picture - what is the model # of the tractor.

$29,000 seems a bit pricey for that many hours but compared to a new one I guess it's not too much too high.  Looks good.
