I'm guessing a Standen swivel tyne? Rules in Oz were that import duty was less if you added local made gear. So IH used BE gear made here under license by Armstrong Holland. Cat did the same (Steelweld?). Not sure who Allis used - a neighbour has PacAce rippers. Oliver seemed to be attached to Britstand and user comments is that they made good gear. I was warned when getting cutting edges for the blade of our FA 10 to be VERY definite if it was 6 inch spacing or 150 mm. It was inch spacing and has a similar swivel tyne ripper. We've now backwards engineered the numbers for hydraulic bits and ripper boots |

| As I looked around for my current buy HD7G I saw a lot of 11B FA units with the same appearance, were these residual HD11 late series tractors or did Allis rebadge them here and not there? Great looking easy to run units here. |

| I think the only way to tell would be serial numbers, the late AC tractors had single top rollers in the brochures that i have they looked the same as the fiat allis series , the rippers are standen high lift swivel type fitted out here and the scrub canopy is made in queensland not a ROPS unit which in my opinion shouldn't have been allowed since the machine has the heavy ROPS mounts , instead they have mounted the canopy on the side steps which were not made to take this weight , It is a nice machine to operate ,very smooth ,plenty of power ,fast ,reliable with quick hydraulics and is good on fuel the only down side is some parts are getting hard to find |
