The previous owner painted over mine. Was wondering if someone had a picture of one. I may try to repaint it.forgot to say this is for an HD5B.

can you try paint remover on it?

Or acetone.

Soak a rag backed by gladwrap or similar with acetone and hold it over the decal area.

You'll need to experiment with how long to soften the paint layer you need to remove and then gently scrape it off.  If there are more than one layers do one at a time.

Learned from sailplane maintenance days.
