Hi,
I had a problem with my Model G oil pan. Three of the cap screws that fasten the oil pan were almost unreachable. The cap screws are not directly accessible from above and are bordered on two sides with the oil pan and the flywheel. I managed to work a knuckle joint socket in to loosen them, but was unable to unscrew them because the clearance was so close and bound the socket after a few turns. I managed to unscrew them with large tweezers. Installation was impossible without splitting the engine from the clutch housing so I had to devise a way to fasten them. I had to machine about 0.030" from the top of three socket head cap screws so the ball driver had enough angle to be able to turn the screws.
Sometimes it's the little jobs that take all day.
Phil
