Can anyone post a clear photo of the gear shift plate as attached to the cowl so I can get it reproduced, one has the 5 speed 1 rev, the other 4 speed 2 rev.

Should be the same as on the shift gate (plate on top of trany) simple pattern -

Do you want a picture of the shifter housing and forks from the parts book? But I assume you have a parts book. There is a change at S/N 11094.

No what am looking for is the small aluminium plate with the shift pattern inscribed on it ,which is below the gauges on your HD6G, Dozer

On my HD6's the plate is there but the information is gone.

as it is with mine, thats why if we could get a picture posted of one that is clear to reproduce, it could be copied to enhance restored machines.
