Do any of you run 3 point drills on your AC 7000 series? We have a Great Plains 20' Drill with the no-till cart, and sometimes I have toyed with getting a caddy instead of dragging all the coulters around. But, since its a 3 point drill anyway, I wondered if it would work that way, and if anyone did it. My 7045 and 60 both have 20.8 x 38 duals and all the front weights I feel like putting on...

Here is the way I am set up...It is a 15 ft Great Plains with a extra bar for danish shovels.
The tractor is a 210...full front rack of weights plus gleaner combine weights bolted to the sides of the rack....
Full of soybeans it is close with the short wheelbase....but managable....would not like to go down our roads with a 20 footer and poles, ditches, etc.
You will love planting with 3pt...easy to turn directly around and do corners...

I have a 15' 3pt GP first on my 70 series and now my 80 series and 15' loaded with beans you need to learn how to steer with your brakes because there is little weight on the front wheels and if your working contours on a hillside it gets much worse. That extra 5' I wouldn't even try knowing how light it make it with 15'. The Great Plains drill is a very heavy well built drill.
