I am restoring a model D grader which has a 12 foot moldboard installed. It is too wide to transport on a drop deck trailer. l would like to put a 10" side shift moldboard on it if I could find one. If anyone has one they would like to sell, Please advise.

My D grader also had a 12' mouldboard which I too found too long for the type of work that I wanted to do. I took my 8" B&D saw with an metal cutting abrasive disk and cut 1' off each end. The only thing it doesn't have over a regular 10' mouldboard is the first two bolts at 6" apart at the ends. Mine doesn't have side shift but I did replace the manually adjustable circle side shift link with a hydraulic cylinder with a 12' stroke to give me some side shift ability. It does not exactly work as well as a proper side shift mouldboard but it does give me some versatility. You can't side shift the circle when the mouldboard under load or you can bend the ram of the lift cylinders. Don't ask me how I know. LOL
