First off I want to say that this website has saved me ALOT of time & headache since this is my first time working on a dozer 
I have been tasked with getting a 1960's HD3 running & drive-able after sitting about 5 years ago so it sat in the weather etc with one steering clutch uncovered where someone took cover off and just left it ...till we loaded it up. Anyway got it running and had to pull the steering clutches etc (my first time ever ) not to bad a job (except getting the clip off) anyway  my drama is the Drive clutch pedal is stuck... I took linkage off the clutch Rod going into the tranny and the pedal is still stuck so it looks as its froze on the shaft but... Looks like the shaft is a D shape so the whole shaft tries to move... so how can I get the shaft to free up where you can push the clutch with your foot (right now you have to beat it with a hammer) Does anyone have service manual  that shows what it's connected to or have anyone ran into this ? any help would be appreciated

No one has any suggestions on what maybe causing the transmission clutch pedal to be hard to push ?

Unfamiliar with the machine clutch but seems process of elimination . 
pedal pivot point movement with rod to clutch disconnected 
shaft to throw out bearing 
throw out bearing movement on transmission sleeve.

Thanks Coke for your reply .. 
I have narrowed it down to the Pivot point (I've disconnected the rod to the throw-out bearing) 
but it appears the pivot shaft is a D shape so the whole shaft has to turn or am I wrong & it should pivot on the shaft? I have already taken off the C clip that held the clutch to the shaft and I still cant get it to pivot or come off

Has to be a couple H3 owners on here that have the info - funny they have not chimed in.
 I had HD4 so it used a torque converter rather than master clutch .
HD5 used a over-center clutch that was hand operated, so different completely.
Now the H3 was based closer to a farm or industrial tractor  so that might give you some ideas .

I know that the H3 were based on a farm tractor model and typically had the oil bath clutches configured to forward reverse rather than a hi-lo set up. The manual clutch should be the same as the tractor. I don't know which tractor. If someone would post the tractor model then this question could then be made on the farm equipment site for better response.

It is a dry clutch, with regard to the pedal. The left lever is  a forward- reverse shuttle or power director depending on how the tractor was ordered. The shuttle runs in oil.

Hawks:  A few suggestions - when you say the clutch is stuck I am assuming you mean the foot clutch between the back of the engine and the bell housing of the torque tube.

If that is the case, I would check the pilot bearing, pull the inspection cover and see if there is a wad of mouse nest inside the housing.
