 Topic: Wheel Wrenches needed

I have three tractors (2 CA's and a 160) with spinout or power adjust rear wheels. I do not have the special wrench that is used to unlock the excentrics on them. Does anyone have the wrench. The excentrics have a 13 mm square head.

Use two 3/4 inch sockets, smaller one inside the other weld them together, works like a charm
|

I use a Craftsman 1/2 inch 8-point socket (1/2 inch drive, usually need a cheater bar on the socket handle).

I just used a regular socket. I don't remember what size, but it fit just fine and did the job.

A new CA from the factory had 3 eccentrics and one fixed bracket on each rear wheel.
The eccentrics had a 1/2" square protruding head.
A 1/2" drive extension will fit.
Be carefull if the eccentrics are seized, the head will twist off fairly easily

If one of y'all sends me their phone number ( I can't figure out how to post pictures) I'll send you a picture of the two sockets welded for the eccentrics. I'll recheck it to be sure its 3/4 or 1/2 .

There are two types of heads on the eccentrics. The CA/D10/D12 where usually 1/2 inch square while the WD was generally a 3/4 inch hex head. I think the two types are interchangeable.

Weld them together ,I took one smaller socket and put it inside a larger one then welded them together with the 1/2 inch female end out on both,put one on the eccentric and use a breaker bar on the other,

I believe the 160 is a metric size, however I have been able to use a 1/2" eight point socket on mine.

I had an impact socket to fit those I kept on my tire service truck. But I am getting old and cannot remember where I got it. Probably from one of several wholesale places that sell just to tire shops.
