Nice tractor, but the loader makes me nervous with no supports going back to the rear axles. A lot weight and stress on the bell housing.

Put a AC 500 loader on it and it will be a good loader tractor.

Our 175 had that exact same loader on it for over 30 years and never had any problems.  That thing handled tons of cow manure, logs and round bales.  The bucket was getting pretty shoddy in the end, but the rest of the loader and tractor survived.  The only affects it had on the tractor were wearing out the front pivot pin a couple of times and numerous clutches.  We sold the loader and restored the tractor.  It was a win-win in the end.

I have a d-17 series four with that style of loader, that broke the tractor in half . this is the second one that i have seen this happen to . you want a loader with supports to the rear axel .

That dunham-lehr quick-tach loader on a 170/175 is the perfect combination! Very nice and handy unit! I wish the bucket was a little closer to the front tires but oh well.

You would be stepping backward to a loader without quick attach.

ATI makes a quick attach for 400 and 500 series loaders. I just ordered one last week for my 460 loader.
