Hi  I just joined.  I am picking a 1961 H3  Wed.  motor is stuck  but the rest looks good.  does anyone have any info about the prototype snomobiles built by AC. I know the owneer of what we belive to be the only one left.  the guy he got it from worked at AC  and he said there were three  and  one of his fellow employees got one,  that one was scrapped years back  and  he didn't know about the third one.  I will eventually get pictures.  it is going to be diplayed an a vintage snowmobile museum  after it gets a touch up on a few areas.  the machine is in remarkable shape.  looks like they used whatever they had on hand.  the hood is a pair of tractor fenders with a center welded into them.  it uses what looks like a small industrial cart motor and transmission.  the seat is long enough to ride three passengers.
