What oils do I need to use in my I600?Motor oil,Trans,Hydro,Shuttle,etc.Also any special antifreeze?Replaced the fuel filter today,Cleaned the Sediment bowl(YUCK),pulled the air filter(Oh Dear God!).Want to do a full top to bottom service,cleaning,and tune up.

Sounds like the first service I did to the 180, I think the air filter was dated 12 years prior to my getting the tractor and I had to clean it to see it, differential/trans oil looked like soup!

Not sure when the filter was last changed but it was a Big A filter and was black as coal plus a rats nest was stuck to the rear of it.The oils look ok in this thing.Every box is low but looks water free.No milk.The engine oil looks like something I would drain outta my deuce and a half.Black as satans heart.I don't have any clue what grade of oils go where.There are so many choices for Hydro oil too I don't know what to get.I see standard universal,Premium universal,ISO 46,ISO 32,Renew,etc etc.

So,No one has any pointers to what oils I should use?So many different motor oils.30Wt,10W30,15W40,etc.Different stuff in each weight too.I know my 2 stroke detroit requires a different oil than a 4 stroke diesel but can use the same weight.Same with gear oils for the transmission.I have to use GL1 in my Military trucks when a normal off the shelf stuff in most parts houses is GL4.All oils are not created equal and do NOT want to distroy a gear box or engine cause I used the wrong stuff.

I'm pretty sure the I600 is basically an industrial D17. 10W-30 is fine for the engine. If it's a diesel, diesel rated 10W-30 is good. The D17 diesel owners manual specifies 10wt oil below 30 degrees, 20wt for 30 to 90 degrees, and 30wt above 90. Universal tractor hydraulic fluid is fine for the hydraulics, shuttle, and the trans. 80-90 for the drop boxes on the rear wheels.
