i always laugh at fair time when someone hauls in a D21 for the pulls...the JD lovers all say...(bad word choice)....LOL!

Shameless I know exactly what you mean, there was a D21 pulling in the farm stock circuit around here, and now I know another guy that just bought one that he's gonna pull in the same circuit, and the red and green guys don't know what to think of that.

Howdy,
All them D21's sure look tough. I have a pair of new front fenders with all the brackets for sale for the D21's. Now that adds a little more class to the tractor. 715-693-6783

A few D-21's hanging out at the farm, than going for a ride down the road. The one on the front of the trailer is mine, dualed up ready to work, and than cultivating 400 acres. Only the third one in the top picture is mine. The far shinny one is a series I. All the rest are seies II and have PTO and 3 pt except mine that only has PTO

A D-21 is the best looking farm tractor ever.  Period.

As far as pullin goes, The D-21s around here do OK, the red tractors with the Hypermax treatment used to be hard to beat.  I haven't been to many pulls lately though, been 3-4 years.  the AC 426 has a bailing wire crank compared to the IH motors.

We never sold a D-21 since we left the business before they came out (1962).  However, we visited one of our customers who had moved to Southern Maryland.  He had a D-21 with a seven bottom plow.  Said it was an outstanding unit.
There are some BEAUTIES above.  Nice looking tractor.  Looks like power sitting still.
Good Luck!
