We are leaving Sunday morning for Tuckhannock , Pa. which is NW of Scranton ,  we will be at our son's house for all week with most of our days free.  Is there any A-C stuff or collections or people that we could see while we are in the neighborhood.  Thanks.

Hi Ron ,You will be about 3 hours north of my place ,I sold a lot of my AC stuff ,changed over to Cars and trucks like I had back in my younger days .There is a lot of other AC stuff around ,Fred Wilkie is only 6 miles from my place .You would be just 15 miles east of Gettysburg Pa.

Thanks Fred & Dave .  We are going to try and stay away from the big cities this trip and help them get settled in.  They both start work Monday the 16th @ P & G .  I will try and look up Marshall Machinery.  Fred, give me a call Tues or Wed if you have time.  573-694-6694.  Thanks  We are planning on going to Scranton to see if there is really an Office there, as on TV.

I highly recommended going to Gettysburg and hire a tour guide to drive your car. My wife is a big civil war buff and I really enjoyed that tour.

In Scranton there is a train museum, I think it is a national park and you can take a steam train ride.

Civil War stuff is OK but the big must see in Gettysburg is Yinglings Salvage Yard.

West Scranton there is Ricketts Glen State Park which has nice hiking trails.

X2 on Ricketts Glen state park if you would like to hike to somewhere around 20 natural waterfalls! That is the one of the best PA has to offer in my opinion. I just saw this posting, I live in Gettysburg, that is 3 hours south of where you will be. Very nice to tour, I would recommend the "auto tour (30$ cd)" You can stop and go on your time. By the way, if anyone is in the area-- stop by my place and you can barrow the CD/ map book anytime. Kevin

We are 50 minutes from you. We have a large collection of AC toys and 9 AC tractors on the farm. We also have a perennial business with 2000 - 2500 plants around the farm. Give us a call 570 395-3462.

Hope you have a great time.  I am down by the Delaware Water Gap, about an hour south east of Tunkhannock.  You are welcome to stop by and see the herd.  About an hoour and fifteen minutes Southwest of you is Fry's Machinery, in Pennsdale, PA, just north of Williamsport (Little League Museum).  I have found plenty of goodies hidden there.

John
