My old 7G turbocharger is getting close to change out time. Loads of erosion noted on exhaust side while repairing the exhaust. Have noted is listed as a Air Research T04, but are sub sets as 055 or B80. Will the T04 B80 series for the 7000 series engines interchange to the manifold on my 7G? It does have the old style I believe T04 055 on it. Steiners has new ones for 365 and change.

I need to rebuild the exhaust 90 as well try to reconfigure to return to the hood mount stack not on engine. Replacing the turbo at the same time makes sense.

Brake fluid finally dissolved the paint on the tag. No one seems to be able to cross:

TO4 is the size designation so any TO4 will fit. There are different turbine and compressor parts that effect performance. The important feature is the A/R values. A = area R = radius You can measure these along with a picture of the impellers a turbocharger supplier can fix you up with something pretty close. My HD6G has a turbocharger that was specked for a 355 Chevy V8

Can get a T04B80 from Steiners, supposed to fit the 7000 engine but none of the numbers relate. Is a will fit for 190, D21 and others ACS3681 p/n

Mine is the original, wish I had a response back from Honeywell Garrett, but they seem to not care. Just trying to validate the one Steiner has will function correct as can get. Steiner's people do not think so.

Well was reported back from Diesel Fuel injection of Louisville the T04B is a direct replacement A/R wise and mounting. The unit that goes on the D19, the 200, most of the 7000 series was a T04B. Any images of these mounted to engines?

That is what mine is supposed to look like! Mine is one of the last 74-76 but has the same aspirator design on the square air cleaner at the operator station. All but eliminated on mine as well. Currently no one responding to parts requests on the exhaust in the states. Hector has parts off a G-B but won't cross to mine. Thanks Dave.
