John, I think there are some guys from "over there" that sometime post, so you may have to be patient, or there may be others on here who can give you some hints.

Hi Michel, welcome to the forum.
The manuals you are asking for are for sale on Ebay UK. As for ED40 parts, the engine is a Standard Ricardo, also found in early Massey 35's, before MF bought Perkins. In New Zealand we have a few ED40's and engine parts are still available through the local MF network. Panel parts and transmission parts are a lot harder to obtain.
My suggestion would be to contact the UK Allis club for leads on these parts.

Hi Michael, the best is to get the manuals on Ebay UK.
We have here in The Netherlands also ED40 tractors. We have a lot of NOS parts of the ED40 of a company who use to assemble this tractor model. This company was about 8 miles of my place. On the moment we also have a ED40 parts tractors. So if interested we can have a look for you.

Hi

for my ED 40 i'm currently looking for the tachometer. Is it the same tachometer tan,t another Allis Chalmers model D14 D17 or other?
Same question for the tachometer cable
 and i've also have a gauge hydraulics pressure on the dashboard;
do you have also this gauge? And what is the use of that? I need also this gauge?
Thanks for your help
