We had a bad storm yesterday that blew down alot of trees and knocked out the phone an power lines. People are waiting hours at the gas stations to get gas and ice. The power company says that it could be up to three weeks before everyones power is restored. And since I dont live in town I'm guessing that it will be three weeks for us. I was out till midnight getting my daughter home from town. The governor has declared state of emergency in 53 of the 55 counties in West Virginia. Did anybody else have any bad storms? Thank God that I have a generator.

Yes we got hammered good. Just got power back a few minutes ago! Thank you Lord! Spent Friday night get a couple generator's going and clearing tress from lanes and small roads. Saturday getting generator's running for Dad and moms and others in family. Then rest day cutting up trees and cleaning. We had a main transmission line " steel tower" go down 15 mile west of us and to make it worst, lines were down over top 4 lane road. Huge traffic problem after the storm No local gas or stores open due to our local areas all without power! One huge mess! My niece and her 1yr. son had a tree fall on top their car while driving down road. Thank God, they only received some cuts and such from windows shattering. I Should get back to work, But man is it hot out!! And the shop isn't much cooler. Looks like we're not going to have this project done for the Gathering of Orange in a week half. As i don't think primer and paint would work in this temperature and humidity.
