Amazon is offering my Novel Nana's Willow as a free download for Kindle, Ipad, Smart phones, and PC starting today and running through Monday. It is a story of a Kansas Farm family through the most trying and dramatic century of American Farm history. Please be safe this Memorial Day weekend and enjoy a good book on me!

Well I'd like to read it but Amazon won't let me download the book as I don't have a 'reader'...so I download a PC reader from them and they STILL won't let me have the book.
Man I really, really HATE computers these dayze !!

I DO have a Kindle( OK, it's the wife's...) but WHY all the song and dance to download the file???

Too bloody hot in here to bang on keys anymore, I give up on Amazon...one click and I'm gone.....

sorry for the rant...I'm better turning wrenches these days..
maybe someone can PM me the reading material ??

Thanks Gentlemen, I do hope you enjoy the story. Seeing how we are a nation with  a strong Agricultural history, I feel that good farming, or farm related stories are too few and far between. American Farming is a model for the world. I am also happy to announce that Nana's Willow is now a Kindle Edition bestseller!

Well it only took me 3 hours to get your book.....and of course now Amazon has 24hr access to my PC and jammed 3 other books into my harddrive that cannot be removed from the Kindle program. Thankfully I understand DOS and got rid of them .Hopefully I'll figure out how to block Amazon from accessing my PC.I really do not appreciate companies having a look on my computer.

I am so sorry Jay, seems you understand computers better than I do, I am glad you cleared out the unwanted. I do hope the story makes it worth your while.

Steve, I just finished reading this today.  My wife is in the hospital and I spent yesterday/today reading it while at the hospital with her.  It was a great book.  I really enjoyed it.  Thanks!!!

Thank you Greg, Having people enjoy the work is the very reason for creating it. The response to Amazon's promotion was incredible. In the top 100 of historical fiction Nana's Willow reached #13 making it a bestseller this weekend, thanks to good people like you! I pray that your wife is well again very soon. All the best, Steve

Hay Steve
Well I got Nana into my PC and can read it( when I get time, hahaha).Silly me thought I could just copy it over to the wife's Kindle( not so hahaha). It's there but Kindle says it's registered to another user...go figure...the more technology I have to deal with , the more I want to toss it all out the window.
oh well....maybe this winter I'll figure it out....sigh, getting too old for this do-do !
