i liken that right there to jumpin out of perfectly good airplanes, just dont make sense.

At the rodeo down the road, they used to do the "ring of fear."  They chalked out six foot circles, one man to a circle. Then they let a bull out. Last man standing in his circle won $100. Notice I said "Used to." The last year they did the event, a man got freight trained and jet lined. Three hours later he died. 

I used to ride them ugly critters and thank God I never got seriously injured.
