As for a Forum meeting we will have plenty of room and chairs in the feature tent all we need to do is set up a time.  I think all we have scheduled in the tent right now is on Friday and Saturday at 1 Pm and 3 Pm there will be a group of old AC employees and Dealers gathering.  If anyone has suggestions of times I am open to any ideas.

I will be in the feature tent (I think) Friday evening through Sunday (can't be there thursday or early friday due to work) representing the Rumely Allis Chalmers LaPorte Heritage Center project and also the 2014 GOTO at LaPorte. I believe we will be serving free cookies made by Mrs. Rough each day. So come on by !

According to the map for the caravan the show grounds is at the end of Converse Drive, which is only 0.2 mile long.

Butch, is it true that the city limit signs for each end of Plain City are both on opposite sides of the same post?

That reminded me of a boss I worked for in the early 70's. He & a few friends went to the summer national drag races in Englishtown, NJ. They lived not too far from me, in NE PA. When it came time to head for home, they weren't sure of the way. They  saw a car with PA plates on it & decided to follow it. They were well on their way to Pittsburgh when they realized  that they had gone a few hours out of their way!  LOL

Looks like I will make an attempt at getting there. $450 to fix my pickup steering is gonna hurt, though ! Hope I can afford to eat and buy a few things...

I was past the grounds a month ago and they already had a big sign hung on the fence next to US 42.  Should be easy to find

Yes, until some smart person annexed 12 more feet now they cant use one sign and cant afford two, LOL

US 42 now by-passes Plan City more or less on the West side. The show is between the now 42 and old 42 on the notrth side of town. Usualy enough steam at the show that you just follow the smoke.

Should be there sometime Fri-Sun with the camper.  Are generators allowed in primitive camping?

I may have missed an earlier discussion about this, but is there tent camping allowed at the show grounds?
