He told me he had 100 pieces of trucks and equipment, so I just had to go for a visit.  The inventory consisted  of many old cranes and shovels and quite a few of old IH crawlers.  I mentioned I  was brought up on Allis Chalmers orange.  I can still see the like new HD 5 loader my dad bought when I was about 4.
Today this  friend called me and said he had acquired an old HD 10 dozer.  The machine had been sitting for 20 to 30 years in the woods.  He used one of his IH TD 9's to pull it out and then brought it back to work on.  He said he changed the fluids and did a few other things and much to his surprise he got the machine to run.  Unfortunately, it didn't steer to one side.  Now he has taken the machine apart and needs a few parts to get  it back together.  He needs a steering clutch brake band in good shape and the fiber and steel discs that go in the steering clutch.  We are located in New Jersey.  If anyone has any of these parts or can give me a lead on where to get them, please give me a call between  8:00 AM and 6:00 PM at 609-439-8514.  Thanks for any help, Phil

I had my brake bands relined by a truck repair shop and got the steering clutch plates out of Boise ID.
