I've been looking for a ROPS for my 185.  I think I found one.   It appears to be taken off a 7000 series, but looks just like one for 100 series.  What does the jury think?

The axle mounting areas are different between the 180, 185's and the 7000 series on these.  You might be able to make them work with some modifications, but I wouldn't count on it in a rollover though.

that tractor it came off of is a 7000, not a 7010 on up. It may bolt on like a 190, or 200. at least a little closer to the 180/185 .

I'm just wondering if the owner of that 7000 took that ROPS off another A/C tractor.   I have only seen 7000 series with either an open station or a ROPS similar to the factory cab.    Does anyone have a picture of the ROPS mount to the axel on a 185/180.  I can make it work if the width is the same.    Ironically the guy I'm buying said it bolted right on a JD 4020.    I've been looking for some time and they are hard to find.

Here is a ROPS off a 185, it will bolt onto a D17 IV w/factory 3-point, 17X, 18X.
The large plate bolts under the trans/diff in place of snap-coupler system, slotted long uprights go over axle and down to meet angled attaching parts.

the bigger tractors 7010 and up did use the 4 rear cab bars for a ROPS. but a 7000 tractor did use the 2 post like the pic.

Thanks guys,  It is definitely different,  I was able to blow up the picture and it is  set up for a square axle.   Joe any chance your ROPS is for sale?   I may try to fabricate the other to fit.   Thanks for all your help.
