The hd6g is good machine and  the track can be found but not easy and for the other parts  they are easy to found.

I had some. The later ones are a little better than the early ones. Later ones had a bigger crank shaft, mine seemed to start real good. I know the later ones had a decelerator peddle, helps when loading trucks. Later ones had more rollers on the tracks. Mine were very dependable. If you ever put a main clutch in one, be sure to adjust the clutch brake. The last one I had, I bought it with a "bad injector pump". The guy lied to me, it ran on 3 cylinders, it had a hole in the block behind the pump. I picked up a motor out of a late hd6 crawler. It was quite a bit higher HP than the old motor. Would easily spin the tracks.
