Had both 8070's plowing in the field last weekend. Both tractors were pulling 6 bottom AC plows. The tractor with the dual wheel is power shift and the other is power director. We plowed 93 acres in 3 days. The corn stalks plowed great this year. https://youtu.be/JLUVHjy8dAg

Thanks for posting. Definitely not something you see every day. How many acres can you plow an hour with each?

Great video and oh my, how nice the ground is working up. That will give you a nice seed bed when the time comes.

Nice video, Jason.  Not much plowing done around here as it's all no-til in this area.

Leon I think we figured both plows can do roughly 5 acres an hour.  Definitely not an exact science!

I love the look of a slight stream of black smoke, they always used to say it's a sign of a good tractor when they smoke, my 7020 does the same on the disc bine at work!

So what's the pipe or whatever mounted on the right side of both plows? Something to level the dirt?

Never seen that before.

It's easy to plow five acers an hour in a nice, big, flat, wide open field like that. You don't see many of those in Tennessee. If you pulled one of those tractors in some of the fields I tend you would have to back 'em out, because you couldn't turn around lol. Video well done.

That white round pipe is a harrow which helps breaks up clumps of dirt. When you have a harrow mounted on the plow that extra weight and drag equals another bottom. So when your pulling a 6 bottom plow its more like your pulling a 7 bottom plow.

85 acres in the big field and 8 acres in a tiny field by the west road.  I've been wanting to post videos of the two plowing for a long time now.  It took two hours for the long video to upload to youtube!  The 25 second video took about 15 minutes.

I think he was driving the 8070...............

LOL

As an educated guess, I'm thinking the one with the PD, the one without duals...  Kinda looks like him in short sleeves.

NICE vid Jason!  LOVE that awesome sound!
