Pics of an HD6?

I sold it before I could use it. It rained for three years and I lost hope that the next year would be just as wet. I bought a skid steer and later a back hoe to complete the work I had to do. Sure wish I would have hung onto this beast. It had a Detroit 2-cylinder diesel. Started right up after setting for months, no smoke. New owner couldn't stop smiling. The right guy bought her.

The reason I question I owned a HD6 is because this one pictures is a HD6 and it's quite smaller than mine. The guy that bought it said I had it incorrectly listed as an HD6 but it's been 8 years ago and I don't remember what he said it was. But he knew so that's all that mattered. I sold it for $3500 and he said that was way too cheap and tried to give me a thick wad of cash but I insisted that he keep it because he gave me what I listed it for.

The first 4 pictures are Hd5G with first design shovel the last picture is an HD6G. Note the Dump cylinder is different. The dashboard in picture 4 is HD5G although bulldozer versions of the HD6 had this dash.

The CO OP that I bought it from, was the original 1st owner and only used this loader for mixing sorghum. The entire time I had it all I did was clean it and clean it some more. I spent more than one day pressure washing the years of grain built up on it. It really had an easy life, not another one around that had such an easy job. The seller, when I bought it had all the books and service records of everything that had been done too it since new. If you look close one of the front tag wheels has spokes, the other doesn't. If it were here I could point out which is the original because you pumped grease in it to tighten the track. The replaced one adjusts by tightening a nut. I used to know what it weighed but all that info is long forgotten. The ground out here on my land back during that wet was like a swamp. Some areas like the chad driveway were hard enough to park it on, I made a few attempts to move it on the gravel road but the city guy didn't like the ruts it made so even that was out of the question. I'm struggling to remember what the things are called that stick up on the tracks, the tracks on it are smooth and didn't damage roads that were drivable, grapples?
